We have started a new fun theme. It's about scribbles and paint.
One of the Funshine express activities was to cut paint splat shapes and have the kids jump color to color on them. The kids had so much fun. I put on some fun dance music while they jumped. I started a little game. We pointed out the colors when we jumped on them.
Funshine always has the best early learning materials.
This game was called paints and brushes . All the kids had to do was match the paint on the tip of the brush, to the paint splat.
The kids had so much fun with it. I heard "what is your favorite color on here?" "Where is the color _______?" So much teamwork and conversation going on.
Another idea I got from the curriuculm was to have the kids hold a one the brushes from the game and pretend to paint objects or find colors that match.
So simple, but so much learning can come out the simplest things.
